: One of Sarah’s Portraits

After finishing editing Sarah’s session, I really fell in love with this image. I can’t remember what we were talking about when we took this photo, but she has the BEST expression. It’s just that hint of a smile that makes this so compelling. And, it doesn’t hurt that she absolutely cannot make a bad photo, either.

Lance came in a little early for his senior portraits. He’ll probably have some more made in the spring when we can go outdoors as well (it’s just too hot right now).

Kay visited us last week and this shot was one of the results. I love this image – it was really an afterthought at the end of the evening. Sometimes there’s an idea you have when you’re really tired and want to just put the camera down, that ends up being dynamite. This one was Sarah’s idea, and it proves that she’s the more artistic one of this enterprise.
